The research team of Public Policy Research Centre along with the Directors met the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the 15th of June. The Honorable Prime Minister released the reports of three different studies carried out by the Centre. Discussions were later held on the recommendations presented and the way forward.
The reports were also presented to Rajya Sabha MP and BJP National President Shri Amit Shah. He took keen interest in the findings and recommended further research into the policy issues raised through the above mentioned projects.
The Research Centre carried out extensive studies on Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY) and Beti Bacho Beti Padhao Abhiyan and came out with detailed reports on the findings and recommendations of the same. These studies, although varied in research methodology and nature, involved extensive field-based primary data collection in addition to secondary research on the data points compiled from authentic sources.
The reports have been submitted to the competent authorities for follow-up on our findings and they expressed satisfaction and appreciation for our rigorous analysis of the implementation and design of the schemes in question.
In addition, Thinkathon - our brainstorming event for New India – was also presented to the PM Narendra Modi and Sri Amit Shah, they appreciated the initiative and idea of youth participation in nation building discourse.
